Fourth times a charm? I’m still working on creating a Cezanne inspired still live, transmuted through my style. I like this painting, but I haven’t crack the process yet. Still thinking through what the next attempt looks like.

What I did was make the best versio of things and arrange them. What Cezanne did was moving around a still life, creating a flat picture from multiple different angles and lighting of different objects. It’s a weird move- it’s hard to notice at first. Everything he did in his still lives was subordinated to the final effect of the painting. I have a ways to go to crack through on this project.
